Warrior Ranch Foundation envisions a world where veterans and rehabilitated horses realize their productive future in society.

How horses help our veterans and first responders

2025 OFF TO A GOOD START!

Spending time with the horses always brings a smile to everyone's faces. There was still plenty of snow and even some icy patches so we worked indoors at our retreat on Saturday. Sully, as always, was game for the new obstacle, and met some new faces. We also helped Mike workout his own horse, Mattis, to get used to backing up with a handler. A big thank you to Bean and Bagel Cafe in Calverton for donating the bagels for breakfast, and in the clubhouse after lunch we celebrated Juliette's and Christine's birthdays with cake after lunch!

Due to Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD),  22 veterans die by suicide every day.

Due to neglect or retirement from race or show careers, there are over 100,000 unwanted horses.

Equine assisted therapy has been proven to reduce symptoms of PTSD.

Through horse interaction, Warrior Ranch provides a safe haven of healing and well being for veterans, first responders and horses.
